The Power Dynamos Under-18 feeder team, Junior Power, are the champions of the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Copperbelt Under-18 Championship, after edging out their opponents, Lamda Academy 4-3 on penalties, following a 2-2 draw in regular time.
The match was a thriller from start to finish. After falling behind and fighting back twice to make it 2-2, Junior Power kept their composure when it mattered most, converting their penalties with precision while their goalkeeper delivered the crucial saves to seal the win.
It is a massive achievement for the young side, capping off a season of grit, development, and belief. The title reflects the work being done at the grassroots level and gives the players a platform to build on going forward.
