Ghanaian defender Kojo Oppong is set to join Turkish giants Fenerbahçe after the clubs reached a full agreement over his transfer from French side Nice.
The 21 year old Ghana international has agreed to a four year contract with Fenerbahçe and is expected to complete the move in the coming days.
Oppong has emerged as an attractive defensive option for the Istanbul club, who moved quickly to secure an agreement with Nice for the highly rated Ghanaian.
The transfer represents another major step in Oppong’s growing career as he prepares to continue his development in Turkey. His performances at club level have also earned him recognition with the Black Stars.
Fenerbahçe will be hoping Oppong can strengthen their defensive options and make an immediate impact as they prepare for the new campaign.
With the agreement between Nice and Fenerbahçe now in place, the Ghanaian is on course to begin a new chapter of his career in the Turkish Süper Lig.
