Mounir Nasraoui, the father of FC Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, has sparked concern in Spain after posting an enigmatic message on Instagram.
“Hello to the entire blaugrana family; I need help as a person and as a human being,” he wrote, accompanying the statement with a black-and-white photograph of himself alongside Barcelona president Joan Laporta. His words quickly prompted reactions from supporters eager to understand what had happened.
According to Spanish newspaper Marca, the message could relate to an alleged incident at Barcelona-El Prat Airport following his return from the Ballon d’Or ceremony. However, no evidence currently confirms a connection between the reported incident and his appeal for help. Neither Nasraoui nor the people close to Lamine Yamal have provided further details, leaving the meaning of the post unclear.
Three hours later, Nasraoui returned to Instagram to express solidarity with the families affected by the deadly train accident in Toledo. “Sending much strength to all the families affected by the train accident,” he wrote. He subsequently shared a photograph with French rapper La Fouine, adding, “Brother, my home is your home.” Despite these later messages, Nasraoui has yet to explain his initial statement, leaving Barcelona supporters waiting for clarification.
