LFA New Executive Committee Holds First Meeting, Approves Committee Leadership

The Liberia Football Association’s (LFA) newly elected Executive Committee (EXCO) convened its first meeting on Wednesday, 27 May, marking the start of its next four-year cycle and delivering several key decisions aimed at developing the game at all levels.

The meeting was chaired by LFA President Mustapha I. Raji, under whose leadership the executive leadership roles were confirmed. Mr. Sekou W. Konneh continues in his role as First Vice President, with Mr. Saye-Taayor Adolphus Dolo as Second Vice President, and Mrs. Jodie M. Reid-Seton as Third Vice President.

During the session, EXCO approved the appointments of various standing and ad-hoc committee members who will serve for the duration of the four-year tenure.

Key committee leadership appointments include:

• Finance Committee: Hilary Sackie (Chairman)

• Women’s Football Committee: Jodie M. Reid-Seton (Chairperson)

• Marketing & Sponsorship Committee: Amos B. Tweh

• Competitions Committee: Tickly D. Monkoney, Jr. (Chairman)

• Media Committee: Pawala Janyan (Chairman)

• Security Committee: Sen. Momo T. Cyrus (Chairman)

• Ticketing Committee: Christian Weah, Sr. (Chairman)

• Legal Committee: Cllr. K. Jlayteh Sayor (Chairman)

• Grassroots Football Committee: Elvis H. Sirleaf (Chairman)

• Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee: Anthony Z. Denuika (Chairman)

• Sub-Association Committee: Saye-Taayor Adolphus Dolo (Chairman)

• Academical Committee: Sekou W. Konneh (Chairman)

• Medical Committee: Dr. John Mulbah

In addition to making key administrative decisions, the meeting served as a briefing opportunity to fully update new EXCO members on the current operations, ongoing initiatives, and latest developments at the LFA.

In his closing remarks, President Raji congratulated all the members on their election to the committee. He emphasized the importance of a unified front, calling for a strong collaborative effort from everyone involved to drive the growth and development of Liberian football over the next four years.
