The Liberia Football Association (LFA) on Friday conducted a one-day refresher training for referees ahead of the upcoming national league season.
The training focused on the Laws of the Game, recent amendments, match management, decision-making, and other key areas aimed at promoting consistency, professionalism, and improved officiating.
The session forms part of LFA’s preparations to strengthen refereeing standards and ensure match officials are adequately prepared for the upcoming national league season.
Speaking at the opening of the session, LFA Acting Deputy General Secretary for Administration, Anthony Kokoi, urged the referees to maintain high standards of integrity, remain deeply focused on their duties, and embrace the ongoing digital transformation within modern sports administration.
