Senegalese forward Sadio Mané has praised Cristiano Ronaldo’s professionalism, discipline and leadership after the Portuguese superstar scored a hat-trick in Al-Nassr’s 5–3 victory over Al-Kholood.
Mané, who played alongside Ronaldo in the eight-goal Saudi Pro League thriller, described his teammate as a unique talent whose consistency and dedication continue to inspire players around him.
“There is a reason the whole world of football worships Ronaldo. Football has never witnessed such greatness like Cristiano Ronaldo. We, his teammates, acknowledge this fact and respect him a lot,” Mané said.
The former Liverpool and Bayern Munich forward also highlighted Ronaldo’s commitment to the team, describing him as a disciplined leader who is always willing to give everything for victory.
“He is very disciplined and consistent. He is a leader always ready to risk everything for the team to win. I’m happy to have shared the pitch with him as a teammate,” he added.
Mané further expressed amazement at Ronaldo’s continued performances at the age of 41, revealing his excitement about witnessing the five-time Ballon d’Or winner reach the historic 1,000-goal milestone.
“Imagine what he’s doing at the age of 41, that’s incredible. I really can’t wait to see him get the 1,000-goal milestone,” Mané added.
Ronaldo’s hat-trick against Al-Kholood further underlined his enduring influence at Al-Nassr, while Mané also contributed a goal and an assist in the memorable victory.
