Former Ghana international striker Matthew Amoah has left his role as strikers’ coach at NAC Breda following the club’s relegation from the Eredivisie.
Amoah, who was appointed in January in a bid to sharpen the team’s attacking edge, exits as part of a broader restructuring after NAC failed to secure survival in the Dutch top flight. His short stint was aimed at boosting the club’s goal-scoring output during a critical phase of the season, but results ultimately fell short of expectations.
The club confirmed that Amoah’s departure comes alongside changes within the technical staff, signaling a reset ahead of life in the lower division.
In addition to the coaching reshuffle, NAC Breda also announced the departures of experienced Ghanaian duo Andre Ayew and Dennis Odoi, both of whom will leave at the end of the campaign.
