José Mourinho believes Yan Diomandé has all the qualities needed to be a regular starter, suggesting the Real Madrid youngster’s limited starts are largely a consequence of the quality of players around him.
Mourinho praised the player’s ability while explaining why he has not yet established himself as a regular starter at the Spanish giants.
“He lacks nothing. If he were in another team with players of lesser ability, he would undoubtedly be a starter playing the full 90 minutes in every match,” Mourinho said.
