NPFL Moves Ikorodu City vs Wikki Tourists Clash to May 5

The Nigeria Premier Football League has announced a new date for the Matchday 36 fixture between Ikorodu City and Wikki Tourists, shifting the encounter from May 3 to May 5, 2026.

League organisers confirmed that the adjustment was made because the Lagos State Federation Cup Final will take place on the original match date at the same venue, the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.

In an official statement, the league explained that the change became necessary due to scheduling demands surrounding the state cup final, which also uses the Lagos stadium.

Despite the new date, the match will still be played at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.

The fixture remains one of the key games of the round, with Ikorodu City still in the hunt for a historic first NPFL title, while Wikki Tourists are battling to preserve their top-flight status as the campaign heads into its final stretch.
