Official: Sebastien Migne takes charge of Gabon

Gabon has officially appointed Sebastien Migne as its new national team head coach, with the former Haiti manager taking over the Panthers.

After the 2026 World Cup, where he coached the Haitian national team which was in the same group as Brazil, Scotland, and Morocco Sebastien Migne terminated his contract by mutual agreement.

He will now take over as head coach of Gabon, replacing Thierry Mouyouma. He will have the daunting task of qualifying Gabon for the next Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya.

As expected, the Gabonese Football Federation announced the news in a statement published on its official pages.

With extensive experience across the continent, having coached several national teams, he will put his expertise to work revitalizing Gabonese soccer, where major challenges await him.
