Omar Marmoush Scores First Tottenham Goal in 3-1 Win Over Coventry City

Omar Marmoush opened his Tottenham Hotspur scoring account with a superb strike in their 3-1 victory over Coventry City, extending his remarkable Premier League record of scoring exclusively on home soil.

The Egyptian forward, who joined Tottenham after his spell at Manchester City, found the net in the 58th minute with a beautifully struck effort to double Spurs’ advantage in the encounter.

Marmoush played for 87 minutes before being substituted, having delivered a significant contribution to Tottenham’s victory. His goal proved an important moment in the match as the North London side strengthened their grip on the game.

The strike also marked Marmoush’s first goal since joining Tottenham, providing a timely boost as he looks to establish himself at his new club.

Remarkably, all 11 of Marmoush’s Premier League goals have come at home. Ten were scored for Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, while his latest effort came at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

That record represents the most goals scored by a player in Premier League history without finding the net in an away match.

Tottenham ultimately secured a 3-1 victory over Coventry City, with Marmoush’s second-half strike helping the hosts maintain control after James Maddison had earlier put them ahead.

For Marmoush, the goal represents a personal milestone and an encouraging start to life at Tottenham, although his unusual home-only scoring record remains a notable feature of his Premier League career.
