Togolese forward Thibault Klidje delivered when it mattered most for Randers, scoring in their dramatic 2-2 draw against Odense Boldklub FC in the Danish Superliga relegation group.
With Randers trailing after an early free-kick strike from Frederik Lauenborg Arp, the host mounted a spirited second-half comeback. Klidje ignited the fightback in the 67th minute, reacting quickly to finish after a well-worked attacking move orchestrated by Emam Ashour Mahmoud.
The goal shifted momentum firmly in Randers’s favour and highlighted Klidje’s growing importance to the side during the tense relegation battle. The Togolese attacker showed composure and sharp movement inside the area, punishing Odense BoldKlub at a critical stage of the game.
Just minutes after Klidje’s equaliser, OB completed the turnaround through Leeroy Owusu to salvage a late draw.
Klidje’s contribution once again underlined his ability to rise in decisive moments as Randers continue their push to secure survival in the Danish top flight.
