The Senegalese Football Federation has reportedly reached an agreement with Patrick Vieira, who has been in Senegal since July 29.
Federation officials were reportedly impressed by his vision and ambitions for the Lions of Teranga following a working session with the Secretary General.
Although the discussions appear to have been successful, the FSF would prefer not to make this agreement official at this time.
No announcement is expected to be made until Pape Thiaw’s situation is resolved, particularly regarding the payment of the compensation reportedly owed to him.
If this financial dispute is not resolved in time, the governing bodies have reportedly already devised a contingency plan.
The Federation is reportedly considering entrusting the reins of the national team to the National Technical Director to serve as interim coach starting in September.
