Senegalese Winger Souleymane Faye eyes Big Night vs Arsenal

A major new challenge awaits Souleymane Faye, the young winger from Sporting CP, as he takes the field tonight to face Arsenal FC in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals.

Transferred this winter from Granada CF, the Senegalese player continues his upward trajectory. Trained at Galaxy Foot, he gained experience in Spain before taking his career to the next level in Portugal.

His explosive style, built on speed and dribbling, has helped him stand out, particularly during his return to Granada.

On the international stage, Faye has already made a name for himself by winning the 2023 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations with the Senegal U-20 team.

With Sporting, he played a key role in the comeback against FK Bodø/Glimt, where the Lisbon side overcame a heavy first-leg defeat. This was valuable experience ahead of tonight’s clash against the Gunners.
