Super Eagles Takes The Lead Against Jordan

Super Eagles of Nigeria had to fight back from a goal down to head into the half-time interval with a 2-1 advantage over Jordan national football team in an entertaining international friendly encounter.

Nigeria saw themselves training when Jordan broke the deadlock in the 17th minute through Tamari.

However, captain , Moses Simon levelled  in the 26th minute as he showed sharp instincts inside the box.

After an initial effort from Ademola Lookman was blocked, Simon reacted quickest to the loose ball and slotted home a composed left-footed finish to give the Super Eagles the lead.
Super Eagles New boy Emmanuel Fernandez gave Super Eagles the lead just four minutes to the break in his first full debut for Nigeria.

Fernandez displayed excellent composure by controlling a well-delivered cross from Bright Osayi-Samuel before firing a clinical left-footed strike into the net.

The Super Eagles have shown attacking intent and creativity going forward, while Jordan remain dangerous on the counter.

It sets up an intriguing second half as Nigeria look to extend their lead and secure victory.
