Burkinabe forward Abdoul Tapsoba was on target for Radomiak Radom, but his side suffered a painful 2–1 defeat to Avia Świdnik in the Polish Cup Round of 32 on Thursday, October 29.
Tapsoba gave Radomiak an early advantage in the 25th minute, finishing off an assist from Elves Baldé to put his side 1–0 ahead. The goal appeared to set Radomiak on course for a place in the next round as they held their lead deep into regulation time.
However, Avia Świdnik staged a late comeback, with G. Aftyka converting a 95th-minute penalty to restore parity and force the encounter into extra time.
The visitors completed their turnaround in the 114th minute when K. Welniak found the net following another assist from Aftyka, sealing a 2–1 victory and sending Radomiak crashing out of the competition despite Tapsoba’s first-half contribution.
