Transfer: Ayyoub Bouaddi Set to Join Manchester City

Ayyoub Bouaddi’s big move is approaching, with the 18-year-old midfielder set to travel to England this Monday to finalize his transfer to Manchester City after several weeks of negotiations.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Lille and Manchester City have reached an agreement for around 95 million euros, plus 5 million in bonuses.

This deal would mark LOSC’s biggest sale in history, with Bouaddi surpassing Nicolas Pepe, who was transferred to Arsenal for 80 million euros in 2019.

Already won over by Manchester City’s project, the young Moroccan is expected to sign a five-year contract with an optional sixth year. His physical and signing are expected to take place this week.

Bouaddi is also set to break the record for the most expensive Moroccan player, previously held by Achraf Hakimi.
