Morocco and Egypt face off this Monday in the third-place match of the 2026 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
Having been eliminated by Senegal and Tanzania, respectively, in the semifinals, both teams will aim to end the competition on a high note by securing third place in the tournament.
This match will also carry a sense of revenge. During the group stage, the Atlas Lions had defeated the Young Pharaohs by a score of 2-1.
The Egyptians will therefore have the opportunity to get their revenge, while the Moroccans will aim for a second victory against their North African neighbor.
