The Uganda Premier League Secretariat has officially unveiled the nominees for the 2025/26 StarTimes Uganda Premier League Awards with voting now open ahead of the end-of-season celebration recognising the league’s finest performers.
This year’s awards will be determined through a comprehensive selection process that combines technical analysis, performance data, football observation, stakeholder engagement and controlled public interaction to ensure credibility and fairness in the final outcome.
The voting ecosystem will include contributions from a technical panel, league statistics and data, selected football stakeholders, media input and limited weighted fan engagement.
Fans can now cast their votes in selected categories including the Most Valuable Player award, Young Player of the Season, Coach of the Season and Goal of the Season, while other honours such as the Golden Boot Award, Golden Glove Award, Fair Play Team Award and Platinum Award will also recognise excellence and contribution to Ugandan football during the 2025/26 season.
