Uganda Premier League: NEC aim to stay unbeaten against Mbarara City

NEC travel to western Uganda, Kamwenge to be particular to face hosts Mbarara City aiming to keep their decent run against the Ankole Lions.

The Bugolobi based side, perfect so far beating KCCA 2-0 in the opening match before overcoming Lugazi 3-1 in their last outing have never lost against Mbarara City with winning five of the six clashes so far [D1].

NEC, 4^th on the log with six points from as many will play third game while this is Mbarara City’s second match this season after they missed out on match day two as their would be opponents Kitara were in the Caf Confederation Cup.

Mbarara City were beaten 1-0 by Police in their only outing so far and will hope to pick their first points of the season against the Leaders. On Thursday, Police and UPDF fired blanks at Kira Road Arena.
