Harambee Starlets head coach Beldine Odemba has named a 29-player provisional squad ahead of the 2026 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), set to be held in Morocco from July 26 to August 16, 2026.
The players are expected to report to camp on Monday, June 29, 2026, as preparations begin for Kenya’s second appearance at the continental showpiece.
Blend of Experience and Emerging Talent
The provisional squad retains the core of players who have featured prominently in the team’s recent international assignments. Back in the national team set up are Trinity Starlets duo Lilian Adhiambo and Elizabeth Muteshi.
The squad also reflects the continued progression of several players who have risen through Kenya’s youth national team structures and are now establishing themselves within the senior set-up, that is, Fasila Adhiambo, Marion Serenge, Elizabeth Mideva, Elizabeth Muteshi and Elizabeth Ochaka
Group Stage Fixtures Confirmed
Harambee Starlets will begin their WAFCON 2026 campaign against hosts Morocco on July 26 at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat, with kick-off scheduled for 11.00 pm EAT.

Focus on Continental Challenge
The tournament marks Kenya’s return to Africa’s premier women’s football competition ten years after making their debut appearance in 2016.
”Representing Kenya at WAFCON is a privilege, and as a team, we have set ourselves a clear target. We know that a place in the semi-finals would give us our debut in the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil, and that is something we are striving for, ” said Coach Beldine Odemba
”Our focus is to compete, continue improving as a team, and make Kenya proud.” She continued.
