Mali and Cape Verde went into halftime tied 1-1 after a thrilling first half in their Group D match at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Mali struck first through Oumou Kone in the 29th minute, but Cabo Verde responded brilliantly just seven minutes later as Evy Pereira found the back of the net to level the score before the break.
With the match finely balanced at 1-1, everything is still to play for in the second half.
