Ghana continued to control proceedings and doubled their advantage just before the break. Gloria found the back of the net in the third minute of added time to send the hosts into the interval with a comfortable 2-0 lead.
The Black Maidens maintained their attacking momentum after the restart and added a third in the 73rd minute through Benedicta, further underlining their superiority.
With Burkina Faso struggling to contain Ghana’s pressure, Hajara produced another moment of quality in the 84th minute, sending a long effort from the corner towards the post and into the net to complete the scoring.
