Jordan Ayew has expressed the importance of Ghana’s upcoming international friendlies against Austria and Germany, expressing confidence in the team’s preparation and readiness to deliver positive results.
The Ghana national football team captain stressed that every match carries weight, even as attention turns to the two high-profile fixtures. “Every game is important. Even though we know these two games are really important, previously the other games were important as well. But it’s just that sometimes, it is what it is,” Ayew said.
Looking ahead to the encounters, the forward acknowledged the challenge both opponents will pose but remained optimistic about the team’s condition. “It’s going to be a tough game, and Monday will be a tough game, so we’ll do our best. We’re preparing really well, tactically, technically, and physically. We’re looking good, so let’s see what happens,” he added.
Ayew also pointed to encouraging signs from training, choosing to keep expectations measured while maintaining belief in the squad. “I don’t want to talk too much because we’ve had a couple of days of training, and what I’ve seen is positive. So we’re ready, and we’ll see if we can get a positive result. After that, Monday will take care of itself,” he concluded.
