Women’s Football: Cameroon miss out on Morocco friendly

There has been a change of plans for Cameroon’s women’s national team as it prepares for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Although the players had initially received their call-ups, the friendly match scheduled for early June against Morocco has ultimately been canceled.

The coaching staff is not giving up, however, and is already looking into organizing another training camp at a later date to make up for this setback.

This missed opportunity disrupts the schedule of the Indomitable Lionesses, who have no time to lose.

As a reminder, Cameroon will compete in the final round of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations starting July 25, a tournament that will take place in Morocco.
