Ivory Coast has officially started preparations for the World Cup 2026 after holding its first training session on Monday at the INSEP training center in Paris. Coach Emerse Faé supervised the session alongside his technical staff as the Elephants began an important training camp ahead of the tournament.
Fourteen players participated in this opening session, which mainly focused on physical assessments and the first tactical adjustments before the competition officially begins.
The rest of the Ivorian squad is expected to arrive in Paris in the coming hours to complete the group and increase the intensity of the preparation camp. Emerse Faé and his staff now want to quickly build momentum as the countdown to the World Cup 2026 continues. The Elephants hope to arrive fully prepared for one of the biggest challenges in the nation’s football history.
