Yan Diomandé remains a major target for PSG

Yan Diomandé continues to attract Europe’s biggest clubs after a sensational season with RB Leipzig. The Ivorian winger exploded onto the scene after his move from Leganés and quickly established himself among the Bundesliga’s most dangerous young attackers. The Ivory coast forward scored 13 goals and delivered 9 assists in 36 matches, helping RB Leipzig secure a Champions League spot while also winning the Bundesliga Young Player of the Season award.

Liverpool now pushes hard to sign Yan Diomandé and sees the Ivorian international as the ideal successor to Mohamed Salah on the right wing. The player reportedly likes the idea of joining the Reds, but PSG and Manchester City continue to fight for the transfer.

According to German journalist Florian Plettenberg, both clubs already opened discussions to convince the 9-cap Ivory Coast star, whose market value has reportedly climbed to 90 million euros.

RB Leipzig still hopes to keep the player for the long term and wants to extend his contract, which currently runs until 2030. However, Liverpool, PSG, and Manchester City continue to increase the pressure ahead of the summer transfer window, making the future of the Ivorian talent one of the biggest stories to follow in Europe.
