Zambia U15 Boys End On High at CAF Schools Championship

Zambia Under-15 boys team has concluded its campaign at the CAF African Schools Football Championship in Harare on a positive note, securing a ranking match victory over hosts Zimbabwe at Gateway High School.

Despite an early exit from the main competition, the young Chipolopolo displayed glimpses of good football throughout the tournament, recording draws against Tanzania and Senegal but suffered a defeat to Benin in the group stage.

Forward Allan Chinambu proved the difference in the ranking encounter, netting a clinical brace in the 6th and 26th minutes to silence the home crowd and seal Zambia’s win.

Zambia began their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Tanzania before falling 2-0 to Benin. However, the team showed resilience in their final group match, holding Senegal to a 1-1 draw in an entertaining contest.
