Zion Suzuki has already chosen his next destination

Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement with Parma for Zion Suzuki in a deal worth €35 million, but the club still needs to decide the Japanese goalkeeper’s immediate future.

With Matvey Safonov, Lucas Chevalier and young Alessandro Longoni already competing for places, PSG could send Suzuki out on loan to give him regular playing time. The 23-year-old wants to play regularly and has reportedly made his preference clear, while Luis Enrique wants to assess him before making a final decision.

Suzuki wants Juventus

Juventus have emerged as Suzuki’s preferred destination for a loan move. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the goalkeeper has already given the Turin club his approval after discussions with its management. His experience in Serie A could help him settle quickly and take on an important role. However, PSG and Luis Enrique will make the final decision. The coach wants to see Suzuki in action before deciding whether to keep him in Paris or allow him to leave on loan.

PSG and Juventus must also settle the financial conditions of a potential deal. The two clubs still need to determine who will cover Suzuki’s salary, how much Juventus will contribute and what conditions PSG will set for his return. Juventus reportedly does not want to develop a player for PSG without receiving guarantees in return. A meeting between the two clubs should clarify the situation in the coming hours.
