Ivory Coast striker Sebastien Haller has resumes training with his former club Ajax Amsterdam three months after being diagnosed a testicular tumour at Borussia Dortmund.
The announcement came like a bombshell in the sporting world in July as Borussia Dortmund confirmed that the 27-year old will have to leave their training camp.
“Sebastien Haller had to leave the BVB training camp in Bad Ragaz due to illness and has already returned to Dortmund. During the examinations, a testicular tumor was discovered. Further examinations will take place over the coming days“, the club wrote.

Few days later, Haller successfully underwent his surgery and reacted on social media to thank all of those supporting him through this difficult moment.
“Hello everyone, I wanted to let you know that Step 1 has been completed. I would like to thank the BVB and the medical team who were exceptional with me“, the former West Ham hitman wrote.
“A big thank you also to all the nursing staff of the hospital for their support – benevolence.”
Now, it seems that he is going well as Ajax head coach Alfred Schrauder revealed that he is training with the club.
“He asked us if he could come and train because he was rehabilitating here. Then it is of course wonderful that he can be there for a while. He was able to train on a different field for his recovery,” he said, as per The Mirror.
