Ghanaian left-winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has resumed training with English second tier side Southampton after few weeks on the sidelines.
Speaking on the 21-year old ahead of Saints’ opening game in the EFL Championship earlier this month against Sheffield, Southampton boss Russel Martin described Sulemana’s injury as a minor one.
“Kamaldeen’s injured, genuinely. He’s good, he’s been smiling, he has good energy, I really like him from what I’ve seen. I’ve not seen him on the training pitch very much, unfortunately. He went away with Ghana in the summer, played a bit of football so came back a little bit later, and he’s picked up a small injury”, he said on August 3.

“It’s not a major one, but it would be madness to rush him back for the first game and compromise anything else. He’s a young man with huge potential, and hopefully he’ll be involved very soon. He’s probably a week or two behind the others in terms of what his injury is.”
Now, the former Rennes star is back to training as Southampton released on social media a video of him palying with a teammate.
This is a massive news for Ghana Black Stars who are taking on Central African Republic next month in search for their ticket for 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
