The Tanzania Premier League has decided to begin using the Video Assistant Referee next season.

FIFA included VAR in the game to eliminate errors, particularly when deciding on a goal or a goal-bound action.

North African countries and South Africa have begun using the gadgets since last season, while the Ivorian league has stated that it will begin next season.

The Tanzania Premier League confirmed on Monday afternoon that the VAR will be used when the 2024/2025 league season starts in August 2024.
