Zambia U17 Women’s National Team coach Carol Kanyemba has called 36 players for a one-week-long camp to kickstart preparations for the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in the Dominican Republic.
Kanyemba has retained most players such as captain Blessing Zangose Zulu and forward Namute Chileshe who were key in securing the Copper Princesses’ ticket to the eighth edition of the World Cup.
Zambia is in Group D alongside Japan, Poland, and Brazil at the World Cup that will run from 16 October – 4 November 2024.
