Rayon Sports’ new head coach Roberto Oliveira Gonçalves do Carmo best known as Robertinho has said his target is to bring back glory days at the club.

The Brazilian arrived in Rwanda on Thursday to mark his return to the blues, a team he had coached earlier in 2019. “I want to build and prepare a solid squad whose main ambition is to claim one of the two major titles (League and Peace Cup) and we have to prepare well for the next couple of days and I admit this season, everything is positive,” he said as quoted by Times Sport.

Rayon Sports has scheduled a friendly match Vs Musanze FC at Stade Ubworoherane on July 27 before facing Azam FC on ‘Rayon Day’ on August 3. The new season will start between August 15 to 18 where Rayon Sports will play against Marines FC.

Robertinho will be unveiled to Rayon fans on Saturday during Rayon Sports day at Amahoro Stadium.
