Arsenal are reportedly in the pursuit of a defensive midfielder as Thomas Partey replacement with the London side opening to selling the Ghanaian midfielder this summer.

The 31-year old’s injury setbacks since his arrival at the Emirates Stadium in 2020 from Atletico never let him showcasing his full potential.

partey was expectedt to have the time of his Arsenal career last season only for him to play 16 games due to another harmstring injury.

And according to reports, Arsenal are now looking for a more reliable midfielder and have now set their sights on Bocca Juniors’ Ezequiel Fernandez according to Argentine journalist Diego Monroig.

However, the Gunners will face a stiff competition with Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah which presented the 22-year old with a huge offer.

As a reminder, Thomas Partey’s contract with Arsenal will end in June 2025 and to date there is no discussion over a potential extension.
