Bruno Onyemaechi, a defender for the Super Eagles, is getting closer to joining Olympiacos, the dominant team in the Greek Super League, on a permanent basis.
According to reports coming out of Greece, Olympiacos and Boavista have agreed on a €2.5 million fee for the left-back’s transfer.
On Thursday (today), the 25-year-old is anticipated in Greece to complete his transfer to the Thrylos. Onyemaechi had previously been linked to a transfer to Trabzonspor, a team in the Turkish Super Lig.
This season, the Nigerian has made 18 league appearances for Boavista, tallying three goals and one assist.
During the current season, the footballer has represented Boavista as a winger and left-back. In 2022, he was loaned from CD Feirense to Boavista. The following season, the change was made permanent.
