Eric Chelle, the head coach of the Super Eagles, and Hedi Taboubi, his first assistant, travelled to Europe this week to see some of the team’s best players.
The two went to see Alex Iwobi, Moses Simon, and Wilfred Ndidi at their clubs. Chelle was there at Friday night’s Ligue 1 match between Nantes and Brest at the Stade de la Beaujoire.
Simon participated in 68 minutes of play during the match, which ended in Nantes losing 2-0.
