Kenya Gor Mahia ready to face Bandari in FKF Cup- Odhiambo

Gor Mahia midfielder Austin Odhiambo has expressed confidence in K’Ogalo’s ability to retain the title following their 5-0 victory over Githurai All Stars at Dandora Stadium.

Looking ahead to the FKF Cup Round of 16 clash against Bandari FC, Odhiambo his confidence in facing a top-tier opponent. “To me, I feel like that’s a better match-up than this because when you play against a Premier League opponent, you go into the game psyched up, rather than in a game like this where you are more relaxed. So, I feel it will be an easier game than this.”

Odhiambo also ambitious in Gor Mahia’s title defense race, emphasizing the team’s unity and motivation.
“I feel Gor Mahia is back, even from my teammates, because everyone is motivated and working towards that goal,”

Gor Mahia is currently trailing league leaders Kenya Police, who have 42 points, and second-placed Tusker, who stand at 41 points. K’Ogalo sits third with 39 points but holds a game in hand, making the race even more thrilling as the season progresses.
