UEFA Champions League Rice, Guirassy nominated for UCL Player of the Week again

Declan Rice has been nominated for the UEFA Champions League Player of the Week award once more, having won the accolade last week.

The Arsenal midfield maestro ran the show at Santiago Bernabeu, commanding the midfield with another huge performance that saw the Gunners come away from Real Madrid with a 2-1 victory to win the tie 5-1 on aggregate, reaching the semi-finals against PSG.

It was deja vu at full time as Rice was once again presented with the Player of the Match trophy, having played 89 minutes, covered just shy of 12km and had a passing accuracy of 97%.

This week he’s up against Serhou Guirassy (Borussia Dortmund), Ousmane Dembele (PSG), and Lautaro Martinez (Inter) for their performances in the quarter-final second legs.
