Ghana Asante Kotoko Fans Demand Dominance: Ogum Under Fire After Humbling Defeat

Asante Kotoko fans have issued a strong warning to head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, demanding nothing short of dominance in the Ghana Premier League. The warning comes in the wake of a humiliating 3-0 defeat to struggling Accra Lions, a result that has sparked outrage among the Porcupine Warriors faithful.

Supporters of the Kumasi-based giants were vocal after the final whistle, venting their frustration and disappointment. Many questioned how a team packed with some of the best talents in the league could crumble so easily against a side languishing near the bottom of the table.

“This is unacceptable,” one angry fan said. “We have given the coach everything—top players, resources, and time. If he cannot beat Accra Lions, then what are we even doing?”

Indeed, the pressure on Ogum has reached boiling point. Supporters believe that with the impressive squad built under his watch, there is no excuse for such poor results. They argue that the club has fulfilled all of Ogum’s technical and material requests, and now it’s time for him to deliver trophies, not excuses.

“We are not asking for miracles—we are asking for dominance,” another supporter added. “If we don’t win the league, we don’t see him continuing with this team. It’s as simple as that.”
