Ghana’s U-15 boys’ national team is set to begin their campaign in the 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship today, Wednesday, April 23, with an exciting opening clash against Uganda at 11:30 am at the University of Ghana Stadium.
The young Ghanaian side, filled with raw talent and national pride, will be looking to make a strong start on home soil in this prestigious youth tournament. With the championship running from April 23 to April 26, the boys will have to navigate a tight schedule as they aim to top their group and push toward continental glory.
Their second group match sees them face off against South Africa on Thursday at 11:00 am, followed by a final group-stage fixture against Algeria at 3:00 pm on the same day.
This year’s edition of the tournament marks a special moment, not only because it’s being held in Accra, but also because it gives Ghana’s next generation of stars a platform to shine in front of local fans, scouts, and the wider African football community.
