Emerse Fae, head coach of the Ivory Coast Elephants, spoke to the press on Tuesday after the Elephants were eliminated by Norway.
The head of the Ivory Coast’s coaching staff said that his players gave it their all during the match, which they lost in the final moments.
“The players gave it their all. We did the hard part we tied the game. Unfortunately, we gave up that goal at the end.”
Regardless of the result, Emerse Fae sees the positives and plans to handle his players better in upcoming matches if Ivorian soccer officials place their trust in him.
