Terem Moffi emerges as a Hamburg transfer target

Terem Moffi could leave Nice this summer after returning from a six-month loan spell at Porto. The Nigerian striker resumed training with the French club in July, but Nice have made it clear that he no longer features in their plans.

His contract expires next summer, increasing the urgency for the club to find a solution before the transfer window closes. Hamburg have now emerged as a potential destination for Moffi. The German club, which finished 13th in the Bundesliga last season, appreciates the 26-year-old’s profile and wants to bring him to Germany.

Nice sporting director Roger Ricort recently acknowledged that Moffi could leave and said the club would continue to support him while he searches for a new challenge.

The Nigerian international, who has scored six goals in 23 appearances for his country, could therefore discover a new league in the coming weeks.
