Arouna Kone Begins a New Chapter in France

Former Ivory Coast international Arouna Kone is starting a new chapter in his career in France, taking on a fresh challenge after his playing days.

Having played for Sevilla FC and in the Premier League, among others, the former professional striker has settled in at US Sailly-Saillisel, where he holds a dual key role: vice president and sporting director.

Alongside new president David Iayadene, Kone has big ambitions to restructure and revitalize the club.

The duo aims to focus on developing local young talent by providing them with a solid foundation and the high standards of elite-level competition.

Top-Level Experience on the Field

His impact is already being felt. After helping the team successfully advance through the first round of the Coupe de France, the former forward will be back in action this Sunday for the second round, ready to put his on-field experience to work.
