Super Eagles legend Daniel Amokachi has added a major milestone to his coaching career after successfully completing the CAF A coaching licence programme in Morocco.
The qualification strengthens Amokachi’s coaching credentials and makes him eligible to take charge of teams competing at the highest levels of African club football.
Amokachi, fondly known as “The Bull,” enjoyed an illustrious playing career with the Nigerian national team, featuring prominently during one of the most successful periods in the history of the Super Eagles.
The former Everton and Club Brugge forward was part of Nigeria’s squad that won the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations and also represented the country at the 1994 and 1998 FIFA World Cups. He was renowned for his strength, determination and powerful attacking play.
Following his playing career, Amokachi moved into coaching and technical roles, gaining experience both in Nigeria and abroad.
His latest achievement represents another important step in his transition from celebrated international footballer to a fully qualified coach.
The CAF A Licence is one of the major coaching qualifications on the African continent and provides holders with the credentials required to work at a high level within African football.
With the qualification now secured, Amokachi can pursue more prominent coaching opportunities, including positions with leading clubs involved in CAF competitions.
