Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey will miss Al-Shabab’s next two matches against Al-Kholood and Al-Fayha as he continues his recovery from injury.
Partey is currently undergoing intensive and specialised training under the supervision of Al-Shabab’s fitness coach as he works towards regaining full match fitness.
The Saudi Pro League club has decided against rushing the experienced midfielder back into competitive action, opting instead to give him sufficient time to complete his recovery.
Partey’s absence will see him sit out the upcoming fixtures against Al-Kholood and Al-Fayha, with the club focused on ensuring he returns only when he is fully ready to compete.
Al-Shabab will hope the additional recovery period allows the 33-year-old to regain full fitness and make a strong return to the squad.
