Nigerian CAF Confederation Cup campaigners Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan have arrived in Tunisia ahead of their crucial second-leg clash against CS Sfaxien.
The Oluyole Warriors touched down in Tunisia at 4:58 p.m. on Wednesday, as preparations intensify for the decisive continental encounter.
Shooting Stars travel with a narrow advantage from the first leg, having secured a 1–0 victory over CS Sfaxien in Abeokuta. Lucky Emmanuel scored the only goal of the encounter to give the Nigerian side an important lead going into the return fixture.
The result means Shooting Stars need to protect their advantage in Tunisia if they are to progress to the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
However, the return leg promises to be a demanding test, with CS Sfaxien expected to enjoy strong home support and push aggressively for a comeback.
The Ibadan-based club will now have time to settle in, assess conditions and complete their final preparations before the highly anticipated encounter at the Stade Taïeb Mhiri in Sfax.
