Hamza Abdelkarim Signs Barcelona Contract Until 2030

Egyptian forward Hamza Abdelkarim has signed a contract with Spanish giants Barcelona that will keep him at the club until 2030.

The agreement represents a significant step in the young striker’s career as he begins a new chapter with one of Europe’s most prominent clubs.

Abdelkarim has also addressed comparisons with Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, after earning the nickname “Egyptian Haaland” or “Haaland of the Nile” because of his playing style and goalscoring profile.

Speaking about the comparison, Abdelkarim acknowledged Haaland’s qualities while making it clear that he views the Norwegian as a source of inspiration rather than simply a player to emulate.

“Erling Haaland is an incredible striker and has many strengths. When I watch him, I see areas where I can improve. He scores goals and is always in the right place,” Abdelkarim said.

With a contract running through 2030, Abdelkarim will now look to develop within Barcelona’s system and continue his progression while adapting to Spanish football.
