Zambia hold training session in Maputo ahead of Malawi Opener

Junior Chipolopolo Coach Perry Mutapa and his technical bench led the team through their final training session as they put the finishing touches to their preparations for tomorrow’s COSAFA Under-20 Championship Group C opener against Malawi at Zimpeto Stadium in Maputo.

The final session focused largely on fine-tuning tactics, with Mutapa working on the team’s shape, movement and approach ahead of the much-anticipated encounter.

The session marked the final stage of preparations for the Junior Chipolopolo, who are targeting a strong start to their campaign as they pursue a record-extending 13th regional title and qualification for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Under-20 tournament.

After facing Malawi, Zambia will meet Comoros on September 21 before completing their group-stage campaign against Botswana on September 23.
