The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has petitioned the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to intervene over ticket arrangements for approximately 500 Ghanaian supporters expected to attend today’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Côte d’Ivoire in Bouaké.
The GFA is seeking CAF’s assistance to ensure that the Ghanaian supporters are allocated tickets for the Group C encounter, as it works to secure adequate representation for the travelling fans at the Stade de la Paix.
The request comes as Ghana prepares for a highly anticipated West African clash against the Ivorians, with supporters expected to play an important role in backing the Black Stars from the stands.
The GFA’s petition to CAF is aimed at resolving the ticketing concerns ahead of kick-off and ensuring that the Ghanaian contingent can gain access to the stadium for the crucial AFCON qualifying fixture.
